Picture Quizzes

If you're running a pub quiz, or want to hold a quiz as part of a party or similar event, why not include a picture quiz?

There are many advantages to including a picture round in your quiz. For example:

  • If anyone turns up early, they can be looking at the picture quiz while waiting for the others to arrive.
  • A picture round adds variety to a quiz; many people particularly enjoy picture quizzes.
  • If you find that one team / person regularly wins your quiz, you may find that introducing a picture quiz will help. Often you will find that people with good general knowledge are fairly poor at 'image memory'.
  • If any of your teams / players are tempted to cheat by calling or texting a friend using a mobile phone, they will have difficulty asking "who is this a picture of?" over the phone and are unlikely to receive anything resembling a reliable response!

Our picture quizzes consist of ten pictures, each with a corresponding question such as "Who is this actress?", or "Who played this character in this 2002 film?" To get an idea of the format, have a look at the picture to the right, which shows the picture round from our free quiz.
